Video: Wilmington conservative radio show host to Dallas Woodhouse: “[Democrats] have been targeting several of our Republican incumbents for the last couple of months. I would just to say that we need some support”
Friday morning Republican Party leader Dallas Woodhouse was a guest on conservative radio show The Big Talker. On the show, conservative host Joe Catenacci called out Woodhouse and the “top brass” in the NCGOP for failing to help Republicans running for legislative seats in southeastern North Carolina.
Catenacci : “they have been targeting several of our Republican incumbents for the last couple of months. I would just to say that we need some support”
Catenacci says he’s seen “well-organized attack campaigns” by Democrats and he’s seen nothing from Republicans. In response to this accusation, Woodhouse says the activity is “in certain districts, not in all districts so it’s not necessarily something we can see.” He claims seeing Republican attack ads “depends on where you are.” Woodhouse is clearly flustered and caught off guard by this attack.
In response to his lackluster answer, Catenacci goes deeper, calling Woodhouse out for failing to help Republicans in southeastern North Carolina.
The host mentions needing help from the top GOP leaders in the state, emphasizing how important Sen. Michael Lee, Rep. Holly Grange, and Rep. Ted Davis’s races are. In response to this, Woodhouse claims “we’ve got those particular races high on our radar and we’re going to be doing some things.”
So races high on the state party radar are apparently receiving no support from their state party according to locals.
